Lamera Cup: Team Lamera wins Race 1 at Jarama

This Saturday, after 4 hours of racing where the rough Jarama circuit did not fail to put a strain on the mechanics, Team Lamera (Couasnon, Wilfried and Thomas Merafina) took the overall victory.

Starting from second position on the grid, avoiding pitfalls, the trio entered in the Elite category is ahead of the Pro-Am ETC Racing 2 crew (Parsa, Dufour, Millara), 6th at the end of qualifying. Auto Leclerc by Asphalte (Orgeval, Gruau, Soave) completes the podium.

We will remember the promising start to the race of the trio Dorchy, Froment, Marie (ETC Racing) since the car, 8th on the grid, was in third position from the first laps. Unfortunately, an engine problem spoiled this effort.

We will also regret the hit suffered by Continental Racing (Fargier, Maire, Billet) and which forced the author of the pole position to fall back in the ranking to finally rank 6th. An annoyance that is the opposite of the scenario unfolded by the AMS cleanliness team (Christophe, Fabien, Guy and Tristan Heliou), ultimately 10th overall and 4th in the Pro-Am category after having experienced difficult qualifying which saw him start from 20th position.

In Pro-Am, victory goes to the 3TM Competition team (Balas, Agulo Ponce, Merafina, Durbecq) which ranks 4th overall. The Gentleman category was won by the CTF Ellipse team (Guidicelli, Piguet, Bernardi, Meissonnier), brilliant 9th overall.
