After her victories at Portimão and the Hungaroring, the driver of Iron Ladies signed his third double of the season in four meetings at Hockenheim. Two victories obtained each time starting from pole position. The Habs thus increase their lead to 29 points at the top of the championship.

From the start, Doriane dominated, showing a pace that could not be matched by her competitors. She once again increased her lead in the championship, scoring the maximum points she had. » In race 2, Doriane Pin was ahead of John Wartique and Luka Nurmi, resisting their attacks at the start. She won with the best lap as a bonus.

“After yesterday's race and the start incident, it was difficult to leave with determination, because we cannot afford to lose points during the season, reacted Wartique, the Frenchwoman's rival in the championship, after the Sunday race. However, it was precisely for this reason that I fought for the fourth place I needed to keep my title hopes alive. Today I was third in Nurmi's slipstream throughout the race, but when I saw that he was starting to suffer from a puncture, I tried to take advantage of it by gaining second position, with an attack in the last turns, almost drifting! This is a positive result, even if Doriane’s victory increased her lead in the standings. But the season is not over and these points allow me to continue fighting. » 

Next meeting of the season, at Silverstone from September 16 to 18. For Doriane Pin, a more imminent deadline awaits her with the 24 Hours of Spa on July 30 and 31, where she will be associated with Sarah Bovy, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting.
