Phoenix Racing enters the Blancpain Endurance Series

Present last year in the Sprint Series (and crowned in Pro-Am), the German team Phoenix Racing, in cooperation with Audi Sport customer racing Asia, will field an Audi R8 LMS ultra in Blancpain Endurance Series this season. The trio at the controls of the GT3 will be led by the experienced Markus Winkelhock, winner last year of the 24 Hours of Spa and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

The German will be associated with two drivers from Hong Kong. Marchy Lee, winner of the Audi R8 LMS Cup in 2012, and Shaun Thong, who will also compete in 2015 in the Audi Sport TT Cup (under the leadership of Winkelhock, the official coach of the discipline, Editor's note) will be lined up for the five rounds of the season. The trio will debut during the first event contested on the Italian circuit of Monza, on April 11 and 12.
