Team FJ launches the Xtreme Show

“The XTREME SHOW is meant to be fun and ultra-spectacular, it is the Super-cross of motorsport. » It is in these words that Jérôme Galpin, president of Team FJ, organizer of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series defined the new concept launched by its structure in 2016: the Xtreme Show.

Based on short events in the form of pursuit duels (the ranking is based on the best times), the rounds of the Xtreme Show will pit drivers at the wheel of four XS Trucks in the colors of their partners, and powered by V8s. of 450 hp. The cars will be provided by Team FJ, thus guaranteeing homogeneity in the package offered. The chassis will be the same as that used in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and guests will be able to take a seat aboard these mechanical monsters.

The tracks could be of type Rallycross, asphalt circuit or stadium and the program for each meeting will be composed as follows: Free Practice, Qualifying Heats and a final table of direct elimination duels including the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the grand final.

The first round will take place on March 18 and 19 alongside the Rally du Touquet, counting for the French Rally Championship, on the Front de Mer super-special. The Xtreme Show will also be visible during the World RX event in Lohéac on September 3 and 4, or at the Tours Speedway ( June 25-26) in the Whelen Euro Series.
