The 24 Hours of Spa to follow live video

The 74th edition of the 24 Hours of Spa takes place this Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 30, 2022. The Spa classic constitutes the third event of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup as well as second in the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli. A field of 66 cars has been confirmed, divided into five categories: Pro, Silver Cup, Gold Cup, Pro-Am and Bronze Cup.

Super Pole was taken by Italian Andrea Caldarelli in the #3 Orange6 KPAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT1 Evo. This car's times were nevertheless deleted for a technical infraction. So this is the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°88 from Akkodis ASP Team of Raffaele Marciello, Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon who will start from pole position, ahead of the Porsche 911 GT3-R n°54 from Dinamic Motorsport of Klaus Bachler, Côme Ledogar and Thomas Preining.
