It is starting to become part of the furniture. The 9 Hours of Kyalami race will hold its third edition on December 3 and 4, 2021, closing the Intercontinental GT CHallenge championship. It will follow the 24 Hours of Spa (July 31-August 1), the Suzuka 10 Hours (August 21-22) and the 8 Hours of Indianapolis (October 16-17). Only the Bathurst 12 Hours, usually scheduled for February, should therefore be missed.
The confirmation of the date came this Thursday, two days before the 2020 edition which will see only twelve cars compete. The calendar has been constructed to allow time after the final race in Europe, the FIA Motorsport Games scheduled for October, and before the 12 Bathurst 2022 Hours.
