Victorious last year when the event marked the end of the 2018 season, Team Land will retain two of the three title holders, namely Kelvin van der Linde and Christopher Mies. They will be joined by Markus Winkelhock.
The Team WRT structure will trust the Belgians Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch. These two will welcome the German in their car Christopher Haase. Their task will be to get back on track after a very lackluster 12 Hours of Bathurst (Australia). Audi had only scored three small points.
Held on the Laguna Seca circuit, the 8 Hours of California will begin on Friday March 29 with a “shootout” qualifying session to determine the first 15 places. The race will launch on Saturday March 30 at 16h French time.
