Loris Hezemans untouchable in Valencia
Winner yesterday and author of a new perfect performance this Sunday, Loris Hezemans (Ford n°7 – Hendrik Motorsport) is starting the 2021 campaign in the best possible way Nascar Whelen Euro Series.
In the lead throughout this Sunday race, the Dutchman however had to face an offensive Alon Day (Chevrolet n°88 – CAAL Racing) on the first lap against the leader, before a contact causing the Israeli driver to lose big.
From then on, Hezemans was able to control, finishing with just under 2″ margin over Gianmarco Ercoli (No. 54 Chevrolet – CAAL Racing), with Sebastian Bleekemolen completing the overall podium with his No. 69 Ford – Team Bleekemolen).
Jacques Villeneuve climbs to 9th position with his car operated by the Académie Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport.
Note that with Martin Doubek's double in EuroNascar 2, the No. 7 Ford – Hendrik Motorsport won all four races of the Spanish meeting, a first since the launch of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series.
