Lucas Ordóñez, injured, replaced by Jann Mardenborough at Barcelona

Cruel end of season for Lucas Ordonez. The Spaniard, pillar of Nissan Team RJN's entry in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup this year, will not be part of the season finale on home soil in Barcelona next weekend.

The cause was a fall while cycling which left the rider with a broken shoulder. “With a lot of pain and sorrow, I will miss my home race in Barcelona, with this fracture,” admitted Lucas Ordóñez on social networks.

Nissan Nismo quickly confirmed the identity of Ordóñez's replacement in the No. 3 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT23 as Jann Mardenborough.

The Briton, who passed through GT3 at the start of his career after his victory at the GT Academy, is now competing in Super GT in Japan, and will return to a category that he knows well, alongside Matt Parry and Alex Buncombe.
