On the Magny-Cours circuit (Nièvre), it was the crew of car #62 which dominated. Made up of Thomas and Mattéo Merafina as well as a pilot named Pierre Couasnon, this crew was truly unbeatable.

At the end of the first 4-hour race yesterday, they were more than 1'16" ahead of the drivers who came in second place. This lead was even more comfortable today: they finished the 7 hour race two laps ahead of their rivals. Team cohesion, their speed on the track and strategy are three factors contributing to their domination on the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit this Sunday.

The track was wet throughout the race, causing a few small incidents which required the intervention of the marshals. No injuries were reported this weekend, fortunately!

This Sunday's winners

The #62 crew was not the only one to win on Sunday. In the Pro-Am category, the #15 Race Track Competition crew was victorious, ahead of #70 (CTF by RKC) and #53 (Genius Water Racing).

One of the drivers of the #15, Victor Dumont, described this race as follows: “ In conditions that were more difficult and trickier than yesterday, the key was to stay consistent. That was the key to victory, in addition to the humility we had in the face of the conditions. »

In the Gentleman category, which brings together less experienced drivers or even newbies to the Lamera Cup, the CTF by RKC #24 team won. It was not a win given the race circumstances, with Code 60s (equivalent to a Full Course Yellow) very present due to the rain.

The #24 crew in the Gentleman category won over the #52 from Triangle Nord and the #50 from Fast Kukki Racing. A great introduction for all these drivers, who were able to discover or rediscover the Magny-Cours track in the rain!
