Matthieu Vaxiviere and Aurélien Panis arrive in Mitjet International

In this year 2021, Mathieu Vaxiviere, Aurélien Panis and their friend Raphaël Serrano, mechanical engineer, will appear in the Mitjet International championship. Together, the three men decided to launch their own team: VPS Racing.

« This is a great category., underlines Mathieu Vaxiviere. With the added value of being at the same time as the FFSA GT4 championship and some events within the GT World Challenge. This heralds some great weekends of racing! It is a real pride to announce our participation as a team in a championship that is particularly close to my heart: the one where I started my career 10 years ago ».

On the Mitjet International rounds, VPS Racing will field four cars, including two in the colors of the manufacturer Chatenet.

The first meeting of the year is planned at Nogaro (April 3-5). The drivers will then visit Magny-Cours, Albi, Misano, Lédenon and Paul Ricard.

« I am very happy to embark on this project, what's more, with my friends Matthieu and Raphaël, recognized Aurélien Panis. It has been important to us for a long time to invest in 'our' way in our passion for motorsport, alongside our activity as a driver. Exercising both careers is very exciting. Our goal is clearly to pass on our experience on circuits to young and old drivers who wish to start or have fun in motorsport. ».
