NASCAR – David Ragan will replace Kyle Busch

Injured in the Xfinity Series and unavailable for an indefinite period, Kyle Busch will be replaced by David Ragan at the wheel of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry.

NASCAR – David Ragan will replace Kyle Busch

After the misadventures of Kyle Busch last weekend, victim of leg and foot fractures, after a crash during the Daytona race (Florida) in the Xfinity Series, the team Joe gibbs racing announced that David ragan, 29 ans, et habituellement aligné sur la Ford n°34 du Front Row Motorsports, prendrait le relais du cadet des frères Busch dans la Toyota Camry n°18 from the Atlanta round this weekend in Georgia.

Ragan particularly distinguished himself by winning in 2013 at Talladega (Alabama). The name of his replacement at Front Row has not yet been revealed. “We appreciate the fact that we were able to work with his team to make David available, explains Joe Gibbs, boss of the Joe Gibbs Racing team. We are lucky to have someone of David's caliber while Kyle recovers. »

In the Xfinity Series, Erik Jones will take his seat in the No. 54 Toyota this weekend. However, no announcement has been made for the following races.
