Furniture Row Racing continues to impress in the Sprint Cup as the modest team is currently competing in the Chase with Martin Truex Jr. The only resident of the team was renewed for the 2016 season and could well continue to evolve within the FRR for several years.
But the No. 78 Chevrolet will disappear in favor of a model Toyota,a Furniture Row Racing having established a partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing which will provide the chassis, while Toyota Racing Development will provide the engine.
This could be a smart choice on the part of Furniture Row Racing at a time when Toyota is multiplying its victories in Nascar, including nine successes in 12 Sprint Cup events. His plan is to field two cars in 2017.
