Nascar: Johanna Long follows Danica

A native of Pensacola, Florida, Johanna Long entered the world of Nascar in 2011 by competing in a few Truck Series races with Panhandle Motorsports. His best finish was an 11th place at Texas Motor Speedway. Having started at the age of 8 in the south-east of the country, she won numerous victories in karting. In 2008, at the age of 14, like many American drivers, she was trained at the oval school, joining the Late Model scene. Victorious on several occasions, she is the first woman to have won a championship. As in the United States a season can be contested on a single circuit, it was crowned at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola.

In 2012, at age 19, she would become the youngest female to compete in the Nationwide Series, within ML Motorsports, owned by Mary Louise Miller, one of the rare female team owners in the discipline. “ I am excited to join ML and benefit from Mary Louise's trust. As an owner, she is an inspiration to me. I think all the pieces come together for our association to be successful this season. I can't wait to start She said.
