Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) won the CampingWorld.com 500 held last night at the Phoenix International Raceway (Arizona). The reigning Sprint Cup champion, already victorious the previous weekend in Las Vegas (Nevada), outrageously dominated the race and won ahead of Jamie McMurray (Ganassi Racing) and Ryan Newman (Richard Childress).
The driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet, however, adopted a risky strategy by choosing not to return to the pits during the penultimate interruption of the race, unlike most of the peloton.
To his return to competition, Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing) completes the top five behind Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports). The sultry driver of the No. 41 Chevrolet, suspended at the start of the season, wanted to prove that he had lost none of his peak speed.
