NASCAR – Kevin Harvick passes 6 in qualifying

The king of qualifying this season in NASCAR his name is Kevin Harvick. The driver of the Stewart-Haas Racing won its sixth pole of the year, doubling its career record in 2014 alone. In the seat of its No. 4 Chevrolet SS, Harvick beat the Ford of Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) by 52 thousandths and by 79 thousandths the Chevrolet SS of Kyle Larson (Team Ganassi).

For his return to the wheel after three weeks off following his involvement in the accident which cost the life of Kevin Ward Jr in Sprint Car, Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas Racing) finished 12th. Among the leaders of the general classification, Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) takes 9th place for his 750th start in the Sprint Cup Series, Jimmie Johnson his teammate is 16th, Dale Earnhardt Jr 20th. Danica Patrick (Stewart-Haas Racing) will start from 27th place.
