Nascar – Matt Kenseth wins at Richmond

Matt Kenseth scored his 4th victory of the season by winning at Richmond International Raceway (Virginia) this Saturday, September 12 in the evening. The pilot of the Toyota No. 20, winner at Bristol (Tennessee), Pocono (Pennsylvania) and Michigan this season, dominated the Federated Auto Parts 400 by holding the race lead for more than 350 laps. He won ahead of his teammate Kyle Busch, further marking the current domination of Joe Gibbs Racing which has won 7 victories in 9 starts.

No less than 5 drivers qualified for the Chase without having won a victory. They are Jamie McMurray (Chip Ganassi Racing), Jeff Gordon (Hendrick), Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing), Paul Menard (Richard Childress) and Clint Bowyer (Michael Waltrip Racing).
