The rain came last night on the Bristol oval in Tennessee, delaying the Nationwide proceedings. But that did not ultimately prevent Ryan Blaney (Team Penske) from winning the race ahead of Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) after a final restart seven laps from the finish. Luck was with Blaney who had previously experienced contact with Kyle Larson (Turner Scott Motorsports) 19 laps from the end, without damage in the end since Blaney managed to win his second Nationwide success after Kentucky in 2013.
The next Nationwide Series event will take place on August 30 in Atlanta.
