Ambrose wins with a breathtaking ending

The Watkins Glen race, postponed following the bad weather that hit New York State, was worth the wait. Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) seemed to be the fastest until the yellow flag came a few laps from the end following the crash of Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing).

The last round was full of emotions. Boris Said, wildcard for the drivers, hit David Ragan (Roush Fenway Racing), who crashed into the No. 00 Toyota of David Reutimann, the Michael Waltrip Racing driver then rolling over.

The top ten of the race is completed by Martin Truex Jr (Michael Waltrip Racing), Joey Logano (Joe Gibbs Racing), Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing), Juan Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing), AJ Allmendinger (Richard Petty Motorsports) , Jeff Burton (Richard Childress Racing) and Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports).

Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) only finished 13th and handed over control of the Sprint Cup to Kyle Busch.
