AUTOMOTO The channel will be launched tomorrow

A new stage in the history of AB Matériaux will take place tomorrow, Monday November 5. Launched in 1996, the channel specializing in automobiles and motorcycles in all its aspects (tests, competition, etc.) will take the name AUTOMOTO, following the agreement between the ownership group Mediawan, and TF1, which thus cedes the legendary name but which still remains relevant on the first channel.

If a good number of usual appointments are maintained (Nascar, V6 with Margot Laffite…), the program schedule will be largely revisited with several new shows outlined during the presentation of the channel, on October 11, in the presence of a luxury sponsor: Charles Leclerc, future resident of the Team Ferrari in 2019.

Coming from the web and YouTube, the Garage des Blogs integrates AUTOMOTO with the support of a leading personality: Ari Vatanen. The concept of “Mission GdB” will be based on challenges launched by the 1981 world rally champion to the team, made up of Antoine Delaby, Saad Benchemsi and Guillaume Frecken.

Another new feature: “Sans se braquer”, talk show presented by Olivier Panis and Sandy Heribert, broadcast on Thursdays at 19:00 p.m. All topics related to automobiles will be addressed in the form of debates.

Vintage cars, via Retromania, presented by Thomas Bastard, but also motorcycles with Moto Club (Wednesday evening from 20:45 p.m.) or even vehicle customization with Graveyard Carz and Restoration Garage will complete a very varied program architecture.

AUTOMOTO will not forget the internet aspect either, since Esport will be at the heart of exclusive broadcasts, with the “online” series. F1 On the menu.
