Bubba Wallace returns to 23XI Racing

Author of his best personal season so far, Bubba Wallace has reached an agreement with 23XI Racing for a contract extension of several years.

Bubba Wallace has just received a just reward. Author of his best personal season after 23 race weekends, the native of Mobile (Alabama) convinced the managers of 23XI Racing to offer him a contract extension for the 2023 season.

In the end, it was much more than a one-year extension that Bubba Wallace obtained. The American, who has defended the colors of Michael Jordan's team since its launch in 2021, has signed a new contract linking him to his team for "several years".

« That's excellent news, does he enjoy. I felt like home from the first day. It’s great to be able to continue the collaboration and move forward. I’m grateful for this opportunity, that’s for sure. I think this is my best year in the Cup Series, and we continue to progress and improve. I really enjoyed this period and I'm happy that we can continue it."

Indeed, Bubba Wallace is having the best season of his career in terms of Cup Series results. If he has still not won a victory unlike 2021 (Talladega), the 28-year-old driver has finished in the Top 4 5 times, including a 2^e place in the Daytona 500. During the last round held in Michigan, he also won his first career pole position. So many results which convinced its leaders to extend it for several years. Proof of trust.
