To sell a product, especially sporty, the United States often has unique ideas. Sometimes, they do not hesitate to use all their available infrastructure to create separate events. For two years, the NASCAR for example, is launching its season with an unofficial event inside Memorial Coliseum, a multifunction stadium located in Los Angeles used to hosting team sports events such as American football.

Indeed, the Bristol Motor Speedway will host the MLB (Major League Baseball, the highest category of the discipline in North America) match between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds in the regular season. This is scheduled for August 2, 2025.
For the occasion, more than half of the interior of the oval will be developed to install a baseball field as well as stands in addition to the stands on the track which will be used. “ This is an extraordinary opportunity to see NASCAR and MLB working together, welcomes Jerry Caldwell, president and general manager of Bristol Motor Speedway. This is not the first time that the track has hosted a team sports event. In 2016, the American football match as part of the NCAA university championship between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech took place at the same Bristol Motor Speedway.
