Ford introduces the 2020 Mustang for the Xfinity Series

Ford Performance has unveiled its new Mustang which will evolve in Nascar Xfinity Series starting with the 2020 season on the other side of the Atlantic.

Already in action in the second division of Nascar racing, the current Mustang has been running since 2011, notably winning three Drivers' titles with Ricky Stenhouse Jr (2011 and 2012) and Chris Buescher in 2015.

After having operated the Ford Fusion in the Cup Series for a long time, Ford Performance brought the Mustang into the premier category this year, thus offering greater unity to its commitment to competition, under the sole Mustang banner, in Nascar but also in GT with the GT4 version, or even in Supercars with the car notably entrusted to DJR Team Penske in Australia.

Un schéma que Toyota répète actuellement avec sa GR Supra, attendue en 2020 en Super GT au Japon, et qui défend déjà les intérêts de la marque japonaise en Nascar Xfinity Series et bientôt en GT4.
