Harvick penalized, loses his place for the playoffs

Kevin Harvick (Ford) thought he had secured his place in the playoffs of the Nascar thanks to his victory on Sunday in Texas. However, the governing bodies decided to deduct 40 points from its general ranking due toa non-compliant spoiler during this test.

The Stewart Team-Haas was also pinned, with a suspension from work for the chief engineer Rodney Childers as well as for the person responsible for Ford Fusion n°4 Robert Smith until the end of the season. Rodney Childers must finally pay a $75 fine.

In the championship, only Joey Logano (Ford) secured his place in the playoffs while there are only two tests left. Kevin Harvick drops back to fourth and must start his efforts again if he wants to catch up with his rival.
