Jacques Villeneuve tempted by the Daytona 500?

Jacques Villeneuve back in Nascar ? The information seems far-fetched but it is very true, or at least plausible. Accustomed to the Whelen Euro Series (European Nascar championship) for two years, the Canadian was present this week at Daytona for testing of the Next-Gen. Enough to consider participating in the biggest Nascar race with Team Hezeberg (the team with which he rode this week)?

Jacques Villeneuve would not venture into unknown territory since after his career in F1, he turned to Nascar. In 2007, he took part in two Cup Series races with Bill Davis Racing (21st at Talladega and 41st at Phoenix). The following year, he failed to qualify for the Daytona 500 and then did not race again until Indianapolis with Braun Racing in 2010. He returned in 2013 for a stint at Sonoma with Phoenix Racing.
