Jennifer Jo Cobb to make her Cup debut
A regular at the Trucks Series, Jennifer Jo Cobb will experience the joys of the Cup Series and very quickly.
Indeed, Rick Ware Racing will allow the Kansas native to make her first laps in the big leagues at the end of the month near Talladega in Alabama.
« I am grateful to RWR for this opportunity, she said after the announcement was made official. I have a long experience with the team and a lot of respect for it. This stable has a big heart and reminds me of my little structure which fought against the giants. I am proud of what RWR has accomplished and look forward to being part of the team ».
At Talladega on April 25, Jennifer Jo Cobb will become the 17th woman in history to participate in a Cup Series round, the first since Danica Patrick with Premium Motorsports at the Daytona 500 in 2018.
