Keselowski wins at Martinsville

Brad Keselowski (Ford) scored his second victory of the season by winning the STP 500 in Martinsville (Virginia) where he had already won two years ago. After his success in Atlanta (Georgia), the Team Penske driver mastered the peloton of the Nascar Cup Series by winning the first two segments before reaching the finish line as the winner. The 2012 champion led 446 laps out of the 500 of the event.

Chase Elliott (Chevrolet) n’a pas été en mesure de venir menacer le leader et a dû se contenter de la deuxième place en précédant Kyle Busch (Toyota). Ryan Blaney a hissé une deuxième Mustang du Team Penske dans le Top 5 complété par Denny Hamlin (Toyota).
