After 2001 and 2018, Kevin Harvick registered its name for the third time on the winners list at the Atlanta (Georgia) oval last night in Nascar Cup SeriesEdit.
The pilot of the Stewart-Haas Racing – Ford a mené 151 des 325 tours disputés, et a pris les commandes de l’épreuve dans le troisième segment après avoir vu Martin Truex Jr (Joe Gibbs Racing – Toyota) dominer les deux premières parties de la course.
At the start of the last segment, Harvick controlled the end of the race to win by more than 3″ over Kyle Busch, who came second in the final loops against his teammate Truex Jr.
Winner for the second time since the restart, Harvick took the opportunity to increase his lead at the top of the general classification over Joey Logano (Team Penske – Ford), 10th yesterday. The best Chevrolet Camaro, that of Kurt Busch (Chip Ganassi Racing), finished the race in 6th position.
