Kevin Harvick dominates in Texas

Kevin Harvick (Ford) remained untouchable at Texas Motor Speedway to win his third consecutive victory on this oval during the playoffs. The driver of the Stewart-Haas Racing signs this imposing victory at the best time since it thus offers itself a place among the finalists for the title at the end of the month in Homestead-Miami (Florida).

If the driver of the No. 4 Ford Mustang was clearly the fastest in the field, his race was complicated with a penalty due to an error by a mechanic who placed a wheel on the pit floor too early, the regulation of the Nascar being very strict on stops. The 2014 champion missed the victory of the second segment going to Aric Almirola (Ford), second in the event, but was quickly able to return to the front to offer himself his 4th success of the year and the 49th of his career .
