Kurt Busch beats his brother to Kentucky

Kurt Busch (Chevrolet) scored his first victory of the season by winning for the first time at Kentucky Speedway, signing the 31st success of his career. If the resident of Chip Ganassi Racing lacked success last week at Daytona (Florida) where he had a good chance of winning, the 2004 champion saw his strategy put him in a good position since he had fresher tires for the last rounds.

The #1 Camaro ZL1 was running in 4th place when Bubba Wallace (Chevrolet) spun with 6 laps to go. He took the lead during the restart two laps from the checkered flag and found himself in a duel against his brother Kyle and managed for the first time to win his duel against his younger brother.

Erik Jones (Toyota) completed the podium ahead of Kyle Larson (Chevrolet) and Denny Hamlin (Toyota). The Fords of Clint Bowyer, Joey Logano, Daniel Suarez and Ryan Newman preceded the Chevrolet of Chris Buescher which completed the Top 10.

The Kentucky race will be broadcast this Sunday from 20:30 p.m. on Automoto la channel.
