A sudden passing... I knew Kyle Busch when he was 16 and wasn't even allowed to race in alcohol-sponsored truck races in the second division, yet he was already incredibly talented. The impact of his death surprises even me; every sphere of motorsports (and beyond) has been affected. From the mythical Indianapolis 500 on lap 18, from Jean-Alesi to the superb and legendary Goodwood festivals, to the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL, and so much more, it demonstrates the extent to which he left his mark on his era, outside the NASCAR circle. He, who was so often booed, I don't think he imagined he would be mourned so deeply. He gave us some truly great moments in motorsports with his stubborn streak and immense talent. For my part, I will buy this week's issue to keep as a tribute to this incredible driver, Kyle Busch. After Zanardi, another legend has undoubtedly left us.
