The organizers of the Nascar Sprint Cup have revealed the calendar for the 2014 season. The program remains identical to that of last year with 36 races on the program counting towards the Championship.

Nascar unveils the calendar for the 2014 season

La Nascar has revealed the schedule for the next season. If speculation announced surprises including a new road event, the program remains identical to that of last year with 36 races counting for the Championship added to the Sprint Unlimited on February 15 and the qualifying races for the Daytona 500 contested on February 20 which will precede the big event which will open the season three days later and the All Star Race organized on May 17 in Charlotte. Four events see their dates change in the spring: Martinsville is moved forward a week to March 30 like Texas scheduled for April 6, Darlington is scheduled the following week, Kansas will host a night race on May 10. The Chase begins September 14 in Chicago and concludes November 16 at Miami Homestead. The organizers specified that Air Titan dryers would be deployed in all events.

“This season has been full of excitement and excitement and we expect even more for our spectators in 2014, now that the Generation 6 cars have been running on all the circuits.”, commented Steve O’Donnell, vice president of racing operations. “Having Air Titan dryers available every Nascar Sprint Cup weekend allows us to achieve an important goal set by President Brian France, which is to significantly reduce track drying time and ensure that each event takes place on the scheduled date. »
