Nascar will tighten the screw on inspections

La Nascar will finally fit the mold in terms of technical regulations. If post-race inspections are particularly draconian in the discipline, the sanctions are much less severe than in other championships. Depending on the seriousness of the infractions observed, the penalties could often amount to a simple fine or a reduction in the number of points.

This system will change from this year since any infraction noted will result in disqualification of the car in the three Nascar series (Cup, Xfinity and Truck Series). The driver of the car will lose all points acquired in the race and the resulting benefits, such as a place in the playoffs in the event of a victory.

Stewards will systematically inspect the first two cars to cross the finish line, as well as other randomly selected vehicles.
