The USA soon ready to resume competition?

The United States of America has become the main focus of the coronavirus with more than 670 confirmed cases. The country continues to apply measures to contain the pandemic even if they have a major impact on the American economy.

President Donald Trump nevertheless organized a telephone meeting with several American sports leaders this week to discuss the prospects for recovery. Among the guests, the Nascar was represented by Lesa France Kennedy, the vice-president of the board of directors of the discipline.

“I want the fans back in the stands and they want that too, declared the 45th president of the USA. I can't give you a date, but it will be as soon as possible. We need it right now. »

Nascar has postponed its schedule until May 9 in Martinsville, but the resumption remains conditional since the state of Virginia has taken containment measures until June 10. L'Indycar also revised its calendar with the start of the season scheduled for early June at Texas Motor Speedway, but the representatives of the discipline were not present at the presidential meeting.
