Logano and Harvick win Daytona Duels

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing – Ford) and Joey Logano (Team Penske – Ford) dominated the two Duels organized on the Daytona (Florida) oval last night.

The two events made it possible to determine the starting grid for the Daytona 500, the two winners thus placing themselves on the second row of the grid and so on, after the first row determined during last weekend's qualifying, and which saw William Byron (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) takes pole.

For his part, Harvick distinguished himself by leading the last 44 laps before crossing the line as winner ahead of the other Ford Mustangs of Ricky Stenhouse Jr (Roush Fenway Racing) and Paul Menard (Wood Brothers Racing).

In the second race, Logano waited until the last lap to take control of the event against Clint Bowyer (Stewart-Haas Racing). Aric Almirola (Stewart-Haas Racing) and Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) follow in the standings ahead of Kurt Busch (Chip Ganassi Racing – Chevrolet) who completes the top 5.
