Nascar – Clint Bowyer extends with Michael Waltrip

If Michael Waltrip Racing lost a car in the affair following the withdrawal of sponsor NAPA from the No. 78 Camry of Martin Truex Jr who left to find refuge with Furniture Row Racing, the team seems to want to turn the page. “We've been contenders for the win and the title since day one when (in order of quote) 5 Hour Energy, Clint, and Brian (Pattie, the crew chief) came in.”, comments Michael Waltrip. « I’m excited to be able to build on what we’ve built so far. » “This is big news for all of us,” adds Clint Bowyer who is playing his third season with his team. “It promises stability for the coming years. MWR is my family and it was a priority to be able to continue with 5 Hour Energy. It's time to focus on winning. »
