Nascar, final stretch

It is this weekend that the twelve drivers participating in the Chase, the title race, will be qualified. Currently out of the Top 12, Brian Vickers and Kyle Busch will try to enter with a good result in Richmond. The race promises to be sumptuous and addictive.

Nascar, final stretch

Kyle Busch is currently the most iconic driver outside the Top 12. Winner of four races in the Sprint Cup Series, Kurt Busch's younger brother could miss the playoffs of the Nascar, while drivers without a victory (Edwards, Montoya, Newman, Biffle), more regular in the Top 10, are in the running to participate in the Chase.

There therefore remains a race for those forgotten in the title race to enter the Top 12. If David Reutimann (15th) and Clint Bowyer (16th) seem out of the race, Brian Vickers, author of six poles this season, and Kyle Busch, can still snatch their qualification at the last minute. To do this, they will need to achieve a good result on the Richmond oval, hoping that Matt Kenseth (12th) and his predecessors are not at the party.

For example, Kyle Busch will ensure a presence in the Top 12 by winning the Richmond race (190 points) but will have to count on the fact that Brian Vickers does not do better than third (165 points) and that Matt Kenseth is, at better, sixth (150 points), not counting the five-point bonuses for the drivers leading the race? Suffice to say that we will have to take out the calculator this weekend to find out who will participate, or not, in the Chase.
