Nascar – Earnhardt Jr does not plan to stop racing

Absent from New Hampshire, after experiencing symptoms related to a concussion, Dale Earnhardt Jr. focuses the attention of the media and the paddock Nascar Sprint Cup Series. The Hendrick Motorsports driver will still not be present this weekend for the second road event of the year at Watkins Glen (New York), replaced once again by Jeff Gordon in the No. 88 Chevrolet.

Asked about a possible retirement from motorsport, the native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, however, remains categorical. “I miss the competition, I miss being here. I'm not ready to stop racing. I'm not ready to walk away. It’s a very slow process, more so than I like. I don't know how long it will take. I'm not going back in a car until the doctors clear me. »
