A former Formula 1 driver is aiming for the 2026 Euro Nascar title

Former pilot of Formula 1, world champion of Formula E in 2015 and winner in NASCARNelson Piquet Jr. arrives in Europe with a CV as rich as it is versatile. At 40, the Brazilian returns to a type of competition that perfectly matches his driver's DNA.

During his time in the United States, he distinguished himself in NASCAR, notably with a memorable victory at Road America in 2012, as well as two Truck Series wins at Michigan and Las Vegas. That same season, he finished in the top 10 of the championship, with a total of 28 top-10 finishes.

Having secured second place in the championship in 2025, Alumitec Racing is no longer hiding its ambitions. The team, based in Vulaines-sur-Seine, wants to take that final step and is putting in the necessary effort.
