Nascar – Harvick adds Las Vegas to his list

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) scored its first victory of the season by winning the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Nevada). The reigning champion of the Nascar Sprint Cup carried out the best strategy by changing all four tires during the last stop and finally won ahead of Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing) and Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing).

Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) completes the top five ahead of AJ Allmendinger (JTG Daugherty Racing) and Brad Keselowski (Team Penske).

It's a missed weekend for Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick) who went to rub the wall twice after suffering a puncture. His teammate Jeff Gordon could also claim better than 18th place after taking pole, but the driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet had to start from the back of the grid with his reserve car after getting into a collision with Danica Patrick ( Stewart-Haas Racing) in testing.
