Nascar – Jacques Villeneuve does it again in Sonoma

There will not only be 24 Hours of Le Mans to watch this weekend. Jacques Villeneuve will return to service in the Sprint Cup Series, the highest division of the Nascar, lors de la manche de Sonoma, en Californie.

“We wanted to put a driver in the 51 car who could give us the best chance for victory at Sonoma Raceway.”, explains James Finch, the owner of the stable. “When the opportunity to have someone like Jacques Villeneuve presented itself, we were very happy that it happened”. The former pilot of Formula 1 will have the mission to beat Kurt Bursch's performance last year, a third place after leading for two laps.
