Nascar – Joey Logano on pole at Pocono

“I had a great car, Jason (Ratcliff, the crew chief) did a fantastic job all week”, comments the pole sitter. “It's good to get the pole and the track record, I hope to keep it for a little while. I hope to bring home a big V (for victory). »

Mark Martin (Michael Waltrip Racing), last pole sitter at Dover, will start from sixth position ahead of Regan Smith (Furniture Row), Dale Earnhardt Jr (Hendrick Motorsports), Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty Motorsports) and Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports) . Juan-Pablo Montoya (Eranhardt Ganassi Racing) can finally hope to achieve a good result by starting from 17th place on the grid. On the other hand, disappointment is in order for Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) who has shown very good performances recently. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet will only start from 24th place.
