Nascar – Kasey Kahne shines with Hendrick

After a bad start to the season, Kasey Kahne was able to recover to enter the top ten and finally clinch his first victory in the Sprint Cup on the Charlotte oval where the Hendrick celebrated its 201st victory thanks to the success of Jimmie Johnson. Greg Biffle (Roush Fenway Racing) led the race for a long time but the driver of the No. 16 Ford finally had to lose to Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch after making the wrong choice by not deciding to take only two tires.

Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) completes the top five ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Gordon, two other Hendrick drivers. Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing) is eighth while Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth, residents of Roush Fenway Racing, complete the top ten. After winning last week, Jimmie Johnson failed in eleventh position while Juan Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing) barely entered the top 20.
