Nascar – Kenseth holds off Larson at Dover

Since the start of the season, Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing – Toyota) had not managed to return to Victory Lane, having won five victories last year. The 2003 series champion ended his drought this Sunday by winning on the Dover (Delaware) oval.

The driver of the No. 20 Toyota resisted the pressure exerted by Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing – Chevrolet) in the final moments, who was unable to succeed in his multiple attempts to take control of the race. Chase Elliott (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) completes the top three after getting involved in the fight for victory.

Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) and Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing – Chevrolet) climbed into the top 5. The event was marked by the collective collision involving more than fifteen cars, initiated by Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet), victim of a mechanical problem on his mount.

Find the report of the Dover event in issue 2063 of AUTOhebdo, available from tomorrow evening at 22 p.m. in digital version, and from this Wednesday on newsstands.
