Nascar – Kenseth wins ahead of Hamlin at Darlington

“It was one of those days where the car progressed through the pit stops and ended with a second place”, comments the convalescent. “It’s like a new season. With a 500 mile race in Darlington, there were some muscles that were aching. I was physically and mentally tired. But we have a few weeks until the next test. »

For his 700th Sprint Cup start, Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) secures third place ahead of his teammate Jimmie Johnson who further increases his lead in the standings. Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing) completed the top five ahead of Kyle Busch who lost several positions in the final laps following a cut tire late in the race. Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) finished seventh ahead of Juan-Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing), Dale Earnhardt Jr (Hendrick Motorsports) and Ryan Newman (Stewart-Haas Racing) completing the top ten. Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) finished deep in the standings after being caught in a collision with Casey Mears (German Racing) also involving pole sitter Kurt Busch (Furniture Row Racing).
