Nascar – Keselowski continues his series in Chicago

Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) dealt a big blow to the competition at Chicagoland Speedway (Illinois). The leader of the Drivers classification started the Chase with another victory a week later his previous feat in Richmond. The 2012 champion quickly appeared among the contenders for victory before falling in the peloton following a poorly fitted wheel forcing him to return to the pits. But the driver of the No. 2 Ford got back to the front and left his opponents to fight for the places of honor during the last restart.

Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) took second place after delivering a superb duel against Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing) in the final laps. Joey Logano (Team Penske) followed in fourth place after seeing his engine fail him at the finish line. Aric Almirola (Richard Petty Motorsports) was not so lucky and already found himself in difficulty.

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) completes the top five after being the biggest leader in the race. The No. 4 Chevrolet precedes Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch, while Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing) takes eighth place. Jamie McMurray (Chip Ganassi Racing) and Matt Kenseth complete the top ten, the driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet being the only one besides his teammate to be in the top ten without competing in the Chase.
