Nascar – Kevin Harvick unbeatable in Kansas

Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing) dominated the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, leading for more than a quarter of the race. The pole sitter remained at the front throughout the race and shook off the competition during the final restart to secure his third victory of the season, his first on the Kansas oval. The driver of the No. 29 Chevrolet is ahead of Kurt Busch (Furniture Row Racing), author of a formidable comeback from the back of the grid. Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) took third place ahead of Joey Logano (Penske Racing). Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) completed the top five after catching Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) on the final lap.

Dale Earnhardt Jr (Hendrick Motorsports) takes eighth place between Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing) and Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty Motorsports). Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) is on the outskirts of the top ten after having a difficult race. The pilot of the Toyota #20 lacked speed on the Kansas oval and lost numerous positions while receiving a drive-through for excessive speed in the pits. The Chase leader remains three points ahead of Jimmie Johnson. On the other hand, Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) lost a lot of points after retiring following a big impact with the wall after being destabilized by Juan-Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing).
