Nascar – Kevin Harvick escapes to Kansas

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) recovered from his poor start to the current round of the Chase by winning the Hollywood Casino 400 held at Kansas Speedway. The 2014 champion took the lead in the second part of the event and won with more than a second ahead of Carl Edwards (Joe Gibbs Racing), while Joey Logano (Team Penske ) completed the top three ahead of other Chasers Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Austin Dillon (Richard Childress Racing).

The weekend was even more complicated for Brad Keselowski (Team Penske). The driver of the No. 2 Ford retired after damaging his car while going out onto the grass. The 2012 champion began to lose control and was hit by Denny Hamlin. Chase Elliott (Hendrick Motorsports) is also in a delicate situation before the meeting at Talladega (Alabama) which will mark the end of this round of the Chase since the successor to Jeff Gordon encountered numerous problems with his tires allowing him to take only 31st place.
