Nascar – Kurt Busch extends with Stewart-Haas Racing

A few days ago, Kurt Busch admitted not to be worried about his future with Stewart-Haas Racing, even if no contract extension had yet been signed between the 2004 champion of the Nascar Cup Series and Tony Stewart's team.

The suspense ended last night, as the former Penske driver and the Kannapolis (North Carolina) structure validated the continuation of their collaboration for the 2018 season with the No. 41 Ford.

« Seeing my work pay off by winning the 500 Daytona 2017 gave me the will to continue to conquer the world of Nascar, Busch comments. I am excited to compete in the 2018 season as a Monster Energy athlete where I will continue to drive for my favorite manufacturer, Ford Motor Company.

Knowing that SHR is focused on peak performance, I believe I have everything I need to win races this season and capture the championship. I can't wait to start next year with my team, my sponsors, but also determination. »

The Stewart-Haas Racing team, however, did not renew Danica Patrick for 2018, who drove the No. 10 Ford Fusion in 2017. Aric Almirola will replace her next year.
