Nascar – Kyle Busch 2015 champion in Miami

Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) is the 2015 champion of the Nascar Sprint Cup after winning the season finale at Homestead-Miami (Florida) where the title was decided with the other three finalists: 2014 champion Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing), Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsport) et Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing). Le pilote de la Toyota n°18 rejoint la liste des pilotes titrés onze ans après son frère Kurt (Stewart-Haas Racing).

If Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) remained a solid leader in the second part of the event, Kyle Busch took the lead of the race and retained his first place against Kevin Harvick until the finish despite a yellow flag in the last laps. His coronation will be marked by the fact that he managed to qualify after missing eleven of the 36 Championship events after fracturing his leg at the start of the year during an Xfinity Series race in Daytona (Florida).

For his last race in Nascar, Jeff Gordon was only able to take sixth place with adjustments that could be improved on his No. 24 Chevrolet. Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing) was only able to take 12th place by trying offbeat strategies to try to make the difference.
